The writ petition has been registered before this Court on 21st August, 2021, after the original application was transferred from the learned State Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, Bhubaneswar upon its abolition.

The O.A.
was filed in the year by the applicant/petitioner, who was aged about 57 years working as Job Contract Safei Moharir under Addl. Sub-Collector, Settlement, Balasore, being aggrieved by his order of transfer after being upgraded as Grade-III (Job Contract Munsarim). 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during pendency of the writ petition, the cause of action for filing of the writ petition does not survive, as such he does not want to press the writ petition.

Learned AGA referring to the averments made in the writ petition as well as the prayer, submits that nothing survives for adjudication as the petitioner would have been retired in the year 2018 on attaining the age of superannuation.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is disposed of as not pressed.
