This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for both the parties.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioners that the present Petitioners similarly situated have re-engaged as attendants on contractual basis. However, the authority has not been considered the case of the present Petitioners. Therefore, the Petitioners have submitted a detailed representation on 24.08.2021 to the Chief District Medical and Public Health Officer, Balasore-Opposite Party No.3. It is further submitted the said representation is still pending as of now before the authority.

In such view of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court disposes of the present the writ petition with a direction to the Chief District Medical and Public Health Officer, Balasore-Opposite Party No.3 to consider and

// 2 // dispose of the representation dated 24.08.2021 under Annexure-10, if any, within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order. It is needless to mention here that the Opposite Party No.3 shall do well to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioners in accordance with law and the same be disposed of by passing a reasoned and speaking order. The decision so taken on the same shall be communicated to the Petitioners within a period of ten days thereafter. 5.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
