Opposite Parties Mr. Nilambar Jena, Standing Counsel for the School & Mass Education

CORAM:

JUSTICE M.S. RAMAN Order No.

ORDER

21.06.2022 01.

1.

This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No.1464 of 2015 was filed before the State Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, Bhubaneswar. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OA) No.1464 of 2015. 3.

None appears for the Petitioner at the time of call. 4.

The Petitioner challenges the fixation of percentage of marks, i.e. 50% in graduation and other examination, as per the advertisement dated 28.10.2014 (Annexure-2). Such a condition has debarred her for engagement to the post of contractual Hindi Teacher.

5.

Mr. Nilambar Jena, learned Standing Counsel for the School & Mass Education submitted that since the Petitioner has questioned the non-engagement of Hindi Teacher on contract basis way back in 2015, the matter has been rendered infructuous. 6.

In such view of the matter, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
