Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the Opposite Parties.

The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "(i) Direct the State/ Respondents to bring over the applicant from W/C Estt. to Regular Estt. And absorb him/ regularize him in any post on the date applicant completed five years continuous service in W/C Estt. And extend all service and financial benefits as well as pension and other pensionary benefits to the applicant after his retirement in view of the F.D. Resolution & O.M. under Annexure3 & 4. (ii) Pass any other order / orders as deemed fit and proper in favour of the applicant".

Mr. A.K.Das, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the similar benefits have been extended by the Government in the meantime.

Taking into account such submission, learned counsel for the Petitioner is permitted to make an
// 2 // application for extension of such benefit before the Opposite Party No.1 within a period of three weeks. If any such application is filed within that time, the Opposite Party No.1 shall take a lawful decision on the same taking into account the order passed in similar cases. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
