Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 28.08.2021 in connection with Jajpur Sadar P.S. Case No.208 of 2021 corresponding to C.T. Spl. (POCSO) No.114 of 2021 pending in the court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-cum- Special Judge, Jajpur for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 341/323/354-B/506 of IPC read with Section 8 of POCSO Act.

The allegation is that while the victim girl was moving alone, the present petitioner along with another person came in a motor cycle and asked the victim to accompany them but when she refused, they slapped her.

Considering the nature of the allegations, the materials on record, the period of detention already undergone and the fact that charge sheet has already been submitted, I am inclined to
allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall not approach, threaten, coerce or pressurize the victim in any manner whatsoever failing which appropriate adverse order shall be passed against him. 6.
BLAPL is allowed.
