01. 1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
2. The writ petition has been renumbered and registered before this Court on 24.08.2021 after being transferred, upon abolition of the learned State Administrative Tribunal, Bhubaneswar.
3. On perusal of the available order-sheets of the learned Tribunal, it is indicated that notices were issued on 26.02.2015 and the matter was never taken up/pursued after 16.01.2019.
4. The Original Application was filed by the petitioner, who was working as Deputy Superintendent of Excise at various places within the State with a prayer to set aside the notification dated 23.06.2010 (Annexure-1) issued by the Government, Excise Department.
5. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that during pendency of the writ petition, the matter has been rendered infrcutuous, accordingly, the same is not pressed.
