ORDER (Oral) 22.03.2022 02.

1. This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode.

2. It is alleged that the order dated 19.04.2019 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No.18062 of 2018, whereby the Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Odisha, Bhubaneswar was directed to dispose of the representation dated 17.01.2018 filed by the petitioner on merits within six weeks, has not been complied with.

3. Mr. Anupam Rath, learned counsel appearing for the contemnor/opposite party states that necessary steps for streamlining the functioning of the OSCARD Bank have been taken by appointing Task Force Committee and other Committees as also the removal of the then Managing Director Shri Nityananda Rout;

and thereby the representation dated 17.01.2018 stands decided vide order dated 28.02.2020 passed by the Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Odisha. A copy of the said order was also endorsed to the petitioner.

4. In view of the above, we find no ground to continue with the present contempt.

5. The CONTC is accordingly dismissed.
