Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

Having regard to the severity of the allegations and particularly the gruesome manner of offence and prima facie availability of materials to show the complicity of the petitioner in the occurrence, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore rejected. It is however open to the petitioner to renew his prayer after examination of some material witnesses in the case.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
