Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) Direct the Respondents to consider the case of the applicant for grant of promotional benefits as OSCS Cadre w.e.f. 01.12.1988 when his juniors were promoted in view of Annexures-3 & 4 and grant pension including all consequential service and financial benefits"

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 27.11.2014 at Annexure-5 to the Writ Petition before the opposite party No.1 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party no.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioners.
