The Original Application No.268 (C) of 2016 was filed before the State Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OAC) No.268 of 2016. 2.

The Petitioner sought for regularisation of his contractual service as Dental Surgeon against the sanctioned vacancies from the date of his contractual engagement.

Miss. Aroma Rout, proxy counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. Prafulla Kumar Rath, counsel for the Petitioner submits that she has no instruction in the matter.

This matter relates to 2016, keeping the matter pending would not serve any fruitful purpose.

Vide order dated 8th February, 2016 by issuance of notice, the learned Administrative Tribunal has directed in consideration of interim prayer that pendency of the petition/original application

// 2 // would not be a bar for consideration of the continuance of the Petitioner in contractual post.

In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous reserving liberty to the Petitioner to revive the writ petition within a period of 30 days, if cause of action still subsists. (M.S. Raman) Judge Aks
