Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 27.10.2021 in connection with Biridi P.S.

Case No.183 of corresponding to G.R. Case No.1110 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Jagatsinghpur for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 376(2)(n)/294/34 of IPC.

It is submitted that the petitioner and the victim initially had love relationship, during which the petitioner committed sexual intercourse on the victim repeatedly but thereafter tried to blackmail her by making certain videos of her viral in the social media.

Having regard to the submissions, materials on record and the period of detention already undergone particularly, the statement of the victim recorded under Section 161 Cr.P.C., as also the fact that charge sheet has already been submitted, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be

released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial Court on each date of posting of the case without fail. 6.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
