Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) Direct the Respondents to modify the sanction order of 1st ACP under Annexure-3 to the extent that the applicant is entitled to get 1st ACP on completion of 15 years w.e.f. 31.1.2007 and from 20.08.2012 and also entitled to G.P. of Rs.4200/- instead of Rs.2200/- in the scale of pay Rs.5200-20200/- under the ORSP Rules, 2008.

(ii) Direct the Respondents to sanction 2nd RACP in favour of the applicant w.e.f. 01.01.2013 on completion of 20 years service with G.P. Rs.4600/- in the scale of pay Rs.5200/--20,200/-, in view of the Finance Deptt. Resolution dtd.6.2.2013 under Annexure-5 and clarification under Annexure-5/1".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 06.01.2013 at Annexure-4 to the Writ Petition before the

// 2 // opposite party No.5 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party no.5 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.5 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioners.
