This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners and learned Additional Government Advocate.

The Petitioners have filed the present writ application with the following prayer:
" Under the above circumstance, it is therefore, humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be graciously pleased to admit this writ application, issue Rule Nisi in the nature of writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/writs as deem fit and proper calling upon the parties to show cause as to why they shall not be directed to issue Ration Cards in favour of the Petitioners immediately and why direction shall not be given for enquiry and why penal action shall not be taken against the persons involved in the said illegalities and unlawful actions. And pass any another order(s) or issue direction (s) as may be deemed fit and proper in the bonafide interest of justice.

In course of hearing of the writ application, learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioners have approached the
// 2 // Block Development Officer, Basudevpur, Opposite Party No.3 for redressal of their grievance and the authority have granted acknowledgement receipt in favour of the Petitioners under Annexure-2 series. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioners that the said grievance of the Petitioners is pending as of now. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioners that a direction be issued to the Opposite Party No.3 to consider the grievance of the Petitioners under Annexure-2 series within a stipulated period of time.

Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that he has no objection if the grievance of the Petitioners is considered by the Opposite Party No.3, which is stated to be pending, in accordance with law within a stipulated period of time.

Considering the limited nature of grievance of the Petitioner, the writ application is disposed of at the stage of admission with a direction to the Opposite Party no.3 to consider the grievance of the Petitioners under Annexure-2 series in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order. The Opposite Party No.3 shall do well to dispose of the grievance of the Petitioners under Annexure-2 series by passing a speaking and reasoned order.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ application stands disposed of.
