1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the Opp. Parties.

3. The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "In view of the facts mentioned at Para-6 above, the Applicants pray for the following relief(s):-

1. To quash Annexure-7 with consequential reliefs.

2. The Applicant be enlisted in Sl. No. 12 instead of Sl. No. 13 as per final Seniority List of Senior Clerks before holding of D.P.C."

4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that through highlighting his grievances, the Petitioner has filed an application at Annexure-9 to the Writ Petition before the O.P. No. 3, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays that a direction be issued to

// 2 // Opposite Party No. 3 to take a decision on the above noted Petition within a specific time period.

5. Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No. 3 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of this order. It is observed that while taking such a decision, the claim made by the Petitioner with regard to illegal promotion of Opp. Party No. 4 shall be taken into consideration and necessary order be passed to that effect. The order so passed be also communicated to the Petitioner with the aforesaid period.
