This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

This contempt petition has been filed alleging noncompliance of the order dated 23rd September, 2022 passed in W.P.(C) No.22724 of 2022.

Mr. Dash, learned counsel enters appearance on behalf of Manager-cum-Assessing Officer, TPCODL, Nimapara-Opposite Party by filing Vakalatnama in Court, which is taken on record. On instruction, he submits that on deposit of reconnection charges, power supply to the premises of the Petitioner shall be restored forthwith.

Mr. Mohapatra, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Opposite Party is not accepting reconnection charges for which it could not be deposited earlier. He, however, submits that reconnection charges shall be deposited by 26th November, 2022 positively.

Taking into consideration the submissions of learned counsel for the parties, it is expected that on deposit of

// 2 // reconnection charges by 26th November, 2022, power supply to the premises of the Petitioner will be provided within twenty-four hours therefrom. Mr. Dash, learned counsel for TPCODL also undertakes to file the compliance affidavit immediately after power supply is restored.

With this expectation, the CONTC is dropped.

If this order is not complied with within the time stipulated, as aforesaid, the Petitioner is at liberty to revive the contempt petition.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
