27.7.2022 1 1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. The writ petition has been registered before this Court on 28.12.2022 after the Original Application was transferred upon abolition of the learned Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack.

3. On perusal of the available order sheets of the learned Tribunal it is indicated that notices were issued on 5.3.2016 directing to file counter within four weeks and rejoinder within two weeks. The matter was never taken up/pursued thereafter.

4. The O.A. was filed in the year 2016 by the petitioner challenging the list of rejected candidates dated 7.1.2016 and dated 4.2.2016 published by the Director, Secondary Education for selection of contract teacher held in the year 2016.

5. Learned counsel for petitioner fairly submits that cause of action would not survive due to long lapse of time.
