This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.
The Original Application No. 985 of 2016 was filed before the State Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OAC) No. 985 of 2016.

The Petitioner, working as Medical Officer at Community Health Center (CHC), Bentkar on contractual basis filed Original application No. 985 of 2016 before the Odisha Administrative Tribunal, and challenged the action of the Opposite Party No.2. It is submitted that Clause 3 of the advertisement which relates to stipulation as to age limit. It is submitted by the Petitioner that non-relaxation of age criteria is contrary to the Odisha Ayurvedic Medical Officer (Method of Recruitment and Condition of Service) Rules, 2013. 4.
The learned Odisha Administrative Tribunal vide order dated 10th March, 2016 issued notice on admission and passed the following interim order:-
// 2 // "As far as interim order is concerned, the applications of the applicants in response to advertisement at Annexure-6 may be accepted by Respondent No.2 (O.P.S.C.), if they fulfills all the criteria other than the age. However, it is made clear that their result shall not be published without the leave of the Tribunal.
The respondents are at liberty to file any petition for variation of this order."

At the time of hearing today, Mr. Amit Kumar Dash, proxy counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. S.D. Routray, counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the matter has been rendered infructuous by efflux of time.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
