1. When the matter was last taken up on 10.11.2022, the following order was passed:- "1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the writ petition was initially filed before this Court and thereafter transferred to the learned Tribunal and again has ended its journey being transferred to this Court after abolition of the learned Tribunal.

3. The writ petition originally filed before this Court, OJC No.10841 of 2000 may also be mentioned in the cause list as well as the brief for convenience of the learned counsel for the parties as well as of this Court.

4. As prayed for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, list on 28.11.2022."

3. Learned Sr. Counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly submits that during pendency of the matter since for the last 22 years, the petitioner who was seeking appointment as a Teacher has attained the age of about 56 years, therefore would not prosecute the matter any further as no useful purpose is served.

4. Learned Standing Counsel for the School and Mass Education Department agrees with such submissions of the learned Sr. Counsel for the petitioner.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. (M.S. Sahoo) Judge
