Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "The Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to direct the Opp. parties to give promotion to the Petitioner as Sr. Clerk and then Head Clerk from the date of promotion of his Juniors in view of the acquittal from the G.R. Case No.405/2005 as at Annexure-6 and no such proceeding has been pending against the Petitioner and grant all consequential service and financial benefits;
(ii) pass such other order(s) or issue directions(s) as may be deemed fit and proper in the bona fide interest of justice.

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation vide Annexure-7 to the Writ Petition, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted
petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law and also taking into account Annexure-6 to the writ petition, within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
