This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The writ petition has been registered before this Court on 29th December, 2021, after the original application was transferred from the learned Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack upon its abolition.

On perusal of the available order sheets of the learned Tribunal, it is indicated that the matter was listed on about six occasions and after 29.08.2018, it has never been listed nor pursued till it is listed today before this Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that the matter relates to a grievance of the applicant/petitioner for disposal of his representation pertaining to selection and appointment of Forest Guard that was held in the year 2009. Therefore, nothing may survive at present for adjudication.

Learned Addl. Govt. Advocate referring the averments made in the writ petition submits that considering the
// 2 // nature of grievance raised i.e. selection process of the year 2009, nothing would survive at present for adjudication. 6.
It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he has no up-to-date instruction from the petitioner to pursue the matter at present.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to revive the petition within sixty days for any surviving cause of action.
