This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No. 2149 of 2016 was filed before the State Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OAC) No. 2149 of 2016.

The Petitioner challenged the action of the Opposite Party No. 2 in not short-listing the candidature of the Petitioner for the post of Lecturer in Odia in Government Colleges under Department of Higher Education pursuant to the advertisement No.5 of 2013-14 issued by the Opposite Party No.2 i.e., Odisha Public Service Commission. 4.

Mr. L. Samantaray, Additional Government Advocate submitted that by now, the cause of action does not survive and it has become infructuous.

None appears for the Petitioner at the time of call. 6.

In view of the aforesaid submission, by efflux of time, the writ petition has become infructuous. Hence the writ petition is dismissed.
