Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) The impugned letter dated 1.2.2016 of the Director, TE & SCERT, Orissa, Bhubaneswar under Annexure-11 may be quashed so far as seeking permission to fill up the existing posts as against one of such existing post the applicant is continuing as an Teacher Educator and the applicant may be regularly absorbed against the post of Teacher Educator as per the option exercise by him with all service and financial benefits".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 13.08.2015 under Annexure-10 to the Writ Petition before the opposite party No.2 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In

// 2 // such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party no.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
