This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to remove the defect within three days.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to extend similar benefits by antedating the promotion to the cadre of Jr. SES with effect from 03.07.1987 as has been granted to similarly situated persons namely Smt. Mamata Dash, Prabino Kumar Patro, Pratyusa Kumar Das, Kiran Chandra Mishra, Jambhubati Gouda, Dillip Kumar Badapanda, and disburse the arrear salary from 03.07.1987 to 02.01.1998 at par with T.G. Scale as has been granted to similarly situated person vide Annexure-6.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that highlighting the grievance, the petitioner has made representation to the opposite party no.1 vide Annexure-7 and direction may be given to consider and dispose of the same within a stipulated time, to which learned Standing Counsel for School & Mass Education Deptt. has no objection.

As agreed to by learned counsel for the parties, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, disposes of the writ petition directing the opposite party no.1 to take a decision on the representation filed by the petitioner vide Annexure-7 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order by the petitioner.
