1. 1. This matter is taken up by hybrid mode.
2. The writ petition has been registered before this Court on 15.12.2021 after the Original Application was transferred upon abolition of the learned Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack.
4. On perusal of the available order sheets of the learned Tribunal, it is indicated that the matter was never taken up/pursued after 9.4.2015.
5. The Original Application was filed by the petitioner in the year 2015 stating in the O.A. to be working in the post of Peon in Gop Block under the establishment of O.Ps. challenging the notice of termination dated 16.10.2014 (Annexure-6) issued by the Government of Odisha, Department of Panchayatraj Department.
6. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that though notices were issued on 9.4.2015, counter affidavit has not been filed and long pendency of the matter has not helped the petitioner in any manner.
7. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner shall make representation before the authority for redressal of his grievance.
8. Learned ASC submits that any representation that would be made by the petitioner, shall be considered in accordance with law and disposed of in due time by the appropriate authority.
9. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is disposed of with the following order : The petitioner, if so advised, shall make a representation along with copy of documents sought to be relied upon by the petitioner for redressal of his grievance before the appropriate authority.
The authority shall do well to consider the grievance of the petitioner and dispose of the same in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four months from the date of communication of the certified copy of this order along with all documents.
The authority shall communicate the petitioner the decision that would be rendered within two weeks. It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion regarding merits of the case in any manner whatsoever.
