Alleging non-compliance of order dated 24th March, 2021 passed in MATA No.42 of 2020, the petitioner has filed the Contempt Petition drawing attention of this Court that permanent alimony of Rs.8 Lakhs is directed to be paid to the petitioner (respondent in MATA) by the contemnor (appellant in MATA) in the shape of Demand Draft.

This Court issued notice to the opposite partycontemnor vide order dated 23rd November, 2021. At the time of hearing today, learned counsel for the petitioner referring to a memo dated 30th August, 2022 submitted that since the matter has been settled between the parties, the petitioner does not want to pursue the matter any further and hence she

// 2 // sought for unconditional withdrawal of the Contempt Petition. The said memo is taken on record.

In view of such submission, the Contempt Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
