Since the petitioners are continuing as guest faculty under Self Financing Scheme and claiming for regularization of their services, in view of the Government in Higher Education Department Letter No.36535/HE dated 20.09.2006 that engagement of Guest/Visiting faculty should be limited to one academic session and subject to the availability of funds under specific head for the purpose during that session, their claim for regularization is not permissible. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
