This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No. 2930 of 2014 was filed before the State Administrative Tribunal, Bhubaneswar. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OA) No. 2930 of 2014.

The Petitioner, while serving as Assistant Teacher in Level-V category under the Administrative control of State, challenged the action of Opposite Party No. 1 to 3 pursuant to the amendment vide the Odisha Elementary Education (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Teacher and Officers) Amendment Rules, 2014 with regard to promotion.

At the time of hearing, Mr. Chandrasekhar Panda, Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that he has no up-to-date instruction in this matter. Since this matter has been pending since 2014, it is not felt proper to keep the matter pending any further.

Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the Petitioner to revive the petition within 90 days from today, if any cause of action still subsists. (M.S. Raman) Judge Laxmikant
