This matter is taken up by virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Petitioner by way of Original Application being filed before the Odisha Administrative Tribunal in O.A. No. 1313 of 2014 which is renumbered as WPC (OA) No. 1313 of 2014 prays for quashing of resolution of restructuring of OAS cadre. In this writ petition, the Petitioner has made the following prayer:- "1.

Quash the G.A. Deptt. Resolution dt.4.3.2014 under Anx.5 in respect of appointing and posting of OAS in the cadre of Special Secretary as Director, Handicrafts and Cottage Industries and direct the Govt. Respondent No.2 to consider the case of the applicant for his promotion to the post of Director, Handicrafts and Cottage Industries in view of sub-rule(3) of Rule-11 of Orissa Industries Service (Amendment) Rules, 2008 with all service & financial benefits.

When the matter is taken up today, Mrs. Aruna Mishra, Advocate on behalf of Mr. Ramakanta Sahoo, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that she has no up-to-date instruction in the matter.

This petition has been filed in 2014 and it is submitted by the learned Addl. Govt. Advocate that due to long pendency of the case, the matter has been rendered infructuous. 5.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the Petitioner to revive the same within 90 days from today, if any cause of action still survives. Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
