1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode. Order No.
2. The applicant-petitioner had filed the original application before the State Administrative Tribunal, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, which has been transferred to this Court.
3. The petitioner was selected as a Primary School Teacher in a Primary School pursuant to a resolution dated 12.03.1996 and has been continuing as such since 10.02.1999. Now, he has completed 15 years of service.
4. The petitioner challenges the action of the opposite party No.3District Education Officer, Sambalpur in issuing an order dated 19.08.2014 in Annexure-9 for a fresh selection for recruitment of Primary School Teacher as against the post in which the applicant was continuing.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has no instructions in the matter and by afflux of time the cause of action seems to have lost its significance and the writ petition has become infructuous.
6. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous.
7. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach this Court afresh, if any cause of action survives.
