This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

In compliance to the order dated 31.10.2022, learned Standing Counsel for the School and Mass Education Department produced the order dated 01.11.2022 passed by the District Education Officer, Balasore, which reads as follows:- "The Hon'ble High Court while disposing of the W.P.(C) No. 24080 of 2022 filed by Sri Ratikanta Panigrahi Vrs. State of Odisha & others on 28.09.2022 passed orders:- In such view of the matter, the Headmaster of Gilda High School is directed to accept the joining report of the Petitioner and allow him to join in the School on production of a copy of this order along with the joining report by the Petitioner on or before 15th October, 2022. The Petitioner is at liberty to approach the Opposite Party No.

4/ Block Education Officer, Bahanaga seeking redressal of his grievance regarding nonpayment of salary for the non-joining period. Pursuant to the aforesaid Order of the Hon'ble High Court, instruction was issued to the petitioenr to join in duty in Gilida High School, but Sri Panigrahi intimated on 18.10.22 that he could not be able to join in Gilida High School due to protest by the Local Public & Guardians. On the other hand, the headmaster, Gilida High School has reported that Sri Panigrai has not submitted his joining report before him. In order to implement the order of the Hon'ble Court, a hearing of both the petitioner, Sri Panigrahi and the Headmaster, Gilida High School was held on 01.11.2022 at 11.

I heard both Sri Panigrahi & the Headmaster, Gilida High School and upon hearing it is ordered that:-

1. Sri Panigrahi will proceed to Gilida High School on 02.11.2022 and submit his joining report to the Headmaster, Gilida High School.

2. The Headmaster, Gilida High School will accept the joining of Sri Panigrahi and to report compliance by 02.11.2022."

In view of the above, since the relief sought having been granted, the writ petition stands disposed of.
