This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to count his past service for the purpose of pension and retiral benefits.

Mr. S. B. Jena, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that similar matter has been considered by the tribunal in O.A. No. 2045 of 2010 disposed of on 23.03.2018 (Sarada Prasad Routray v. State of Orissa) along with batch matters. Against the said order though the State preferred writ petition bearing W.P.(C) No. 15923 of 2019, but the same was dismissed by this Court, vide order dated 25.07.2022, on the ground of delay and laches. 4.
In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the order passed by the tribunal in O.A. No. 2045 of 2010 disposed of on 23.03.2018 (Sarada Prasad Routray v. State of Orissa) along with batch matters, which has been affirmed by this Court, vide order dated 25.07.2022, in W.P.(C) No. 15923 of 2019.
// 2 // The opposite parties are directed to extend the benefit to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
