This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with S.T. Case No.17 of 2019, pending in the file of learned Sessions Judge, Keonjhar, arising out of Ghatagaon P.S. Case No.121 of 2018, for alleged commission of offences under Section 302 of IPC. 4.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Sessions Judge, Keonjhar, by order dated 07.06.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Since admittedly trial has commenced and seven eyewitnesses have already been examined on behalf of the prosecution at this stage, this Court is not inclined to consider this bail application at this stage.

As the petitioner is stated to be in custody from 02.08.2018, learned Court in seisin over the matter is called upon to conclude the trial within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of the copy of this order. 7.

It shall be open to the petitioner to renew his prayer, in the event trial is not concluded within the time frame. 8.

Registry is requested to communicate this order. 9.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
