This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No. 283 of 2016 was filed before the State Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OAC) No. 283 of 2016.

Mr. M. K. Mohanty, counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the petition is directed against correction of provisional gradation list and fixation of seniority. He also submitted that the Petitioner has already been retired during the pendency of the writ petition. Accordingly, the cause of action does not survive any more.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
