01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.

2. Heard Mr. A.K. Mohanty, learned counsel for the Petitioners.

3. The Petitioners have filed this writ Petition with the following relief:- "In view of the facts, the original application be admitted and so far the eligibility condition fixed by the respondent No.5 in the advertisement dated 14.07.2015 (Annexure-5) may be quashed and after hearing the respondents, the Original application be allowed."

It is submitted that though the writ Petition was filed challenging the stipulation contained in the advertisement under Annexure-5, but the Petitioners were all engaged on contractual basis and in the meantime they have completed the required period of continuous engagement for their absorption in the regular establishment. It is also submitted that the claim for such absorption is not only covered

// 2 // by the Resolution issued by the G.A. Department in 2013 but also the decision of this Court rendered in W.P.(C) No.19951 of 2020 (Patitapaban Dutta Dash and Others vs. State of Odisha & Others).

5. In view of such submission the Petitioners were permitted to approach the O.P. No.1 for redressal of their grievances. It is observed that if any such application is filed within a period of three (3) weeks from today, the said Opp. Party shall take a decision in accordance with the resolution issued by the G.A. Department and the decision as cited supra. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of such representation.

6. The writ Petition is disposed of.
