This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard Mr. S. Behera, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S. Nayak, learned Additional Standing Counsel appearing for the StateOpposite Parties. 3.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties nos. 2 and 3 to regularize the services of the petitioner for the period from 05.03.2013 to 15.05.2013 and 30.08.2013 to 06.03.2014 as due and admissible and sanction the annual increments as applied vide Annexure-3.

Counter affidavit has been filed by opposite parties no.2 and 3, wherein it has been stated that as Collector, Kandhamal in his order no.1130 dated 06.06.2015 has already passed order to treat the period of absence of the petitioner as Extra-ordinary leave, his next increments could not be sanctioned.

In view of the above, since the absence period has already been treated as extra ordinary leave, follow up action shall be taken by the authority by extending the benefit to the petitioner in accordance with law.
