This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No.4210 of 2016 (C) was filed before the Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OAC) No.4210 of 2016. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was engaged as Para Medical Worker on 27.06.1998 and he was redeployed as trained Multi Purpose Health Worker (Male) on contractual basis and subsequently been regularized on monthly salary in the scale of pay P.B.-1 i.e. Rs.5200-20,200/- plus G.P. Rs.2000 per month and usual D.A. and other allowances as admissible from time to time w.e.f. 18.09.2013. 4.

The limited grievance of the petitioner is that for the purpose of extending service benefits the period rendered by him as Para Medical Worker should have been taken into consideration. In this regard, Mr. Patnaik referring to Annexure-5 submitted that the petitioner has made representation dated 05.08.2016 to the Director Health Service, Odisha, Bhubaneswar/Opposite Party No.2 with a copy to the Secretary Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha/Opposite Party No.1.

Mr. L. Samantaray, learned Additional Government Advocate submitted that the authority concerned shall consider the said representation, if pending, within a stipulated period of time. 6.

Without entering into the merits of the matter, the petitioner is directed to make comprehensive representation afresh to the Opposite Party No.1 i.e. namely, Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department who shall consider the same within a period of four months from the date of production of copy of this order by the petitioner and the decision taken by him shall be communicated to the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
