Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners.

The Petitioners have filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "It is, therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to admit this Writ Petition, issue notice to the opposite parties and after hearing the parties, direction may kindly be issued to the Opp. Parties to pay compensation as per sale transaction made in the locality after due negotiation with the petitioners before acquiring the land of the petitioners bearing Plot Nos.813 and 844, Khata No.510 of Village-Gadaparanjanga, in the district of Dhenkanal in the interest of justice." 4.

He further submits that though highlighting their grievances, the petitioners have filed representation vide Annexure-4 to the Writ Petition, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the above

noted petition within a specific time period. 5.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 6.
