1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State.

2. This is an application under Section 438 Cr.P.C. filed by the Petitioner for anticipatory bail allegedly for his involvement in the offences under Sections 370/374/420/120-B, I.P.C. and Section 25 of Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1979.

3. Keeping in view the submission of the parties and having gone through the nature of allegations as emerged from the materials on record, and further the circumstances appearing and the seriousness and gravity of the offences, it is directed that in the event the Petitioner surrenders and moves for bail before the learned S.D.J.M., Patnagarh in G.R. Case No.795 of 2022 corresponding to Khaparakhol P.S. Case No.172 of 2022 within a period of three weeks from today, he shall be allowed to go on bail on such terms

// 2 // and conditions as would be deemed just and proper by the said court, but subject to verification of criminal antecedents of the Petitioner. If it is found that there is more than one criminal antecedent of similar nature or otherwise against the Petitioner, this order shall stand automatically revoked.

4. The ABLAPL is disposed of accordingly.
