This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.
The Original Application No. 4067 of 2016 was filed before the State Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OAC) No. 4067 of 2016.

The Petitioner, working as Junior Clerk of Angul High School, Angul, has filed the writ petition seeking a direction to the Opposite Parties to sanction and disburse the full salary from the date of retrenchment i.e., 01.04.2001 till reappointment of the Petitioner on 26th July, 2003. In this writ petition, it is also claimed to allow benefit of seniority and restore continuity in service from the date of initial appointment under the Odisha Civil Service (Rehabilitation Assistance) Rules, 1990.

The learned Tribunal vide order dated 2nd December, 2016 observed as follows:- "Issue notice on admission. Counter be filed within four weeks and rejoinder, if any be filed within four weeks thereafter. List after six weeks."

At the time of hearing today, Mr. A.K. Behera, counsel for the Petitioner prayed for withdrawal of the writ petition as the matter has become infructuous.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
