1. 1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
2. The writ petition has been registered before this Court on 21.12.2021, after the Original Application was transferred from the learned Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack upon its abolition.
3. On perusal of the available order-sheets of the learned Tribunal, it is indicated that notices were issued by the learned Tribunal on 28.08.2015 and the matter was never taken up/pursued thereafter. Counter on behalf of opposite party nos. 1 & 3 is on record.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has no up-to-date instruction to pursue the matter on behalf of the petitioner at present.
5. Learned Standing counsel submits that considering the nature of grievance, i.e., challenge to the order of transfer dated 16.09.2014, nothing would survive at present after seven years.
6. It is further submitted that the transfer was pursuant to a Government Policy to rationalize the pupil teacher ratio in different schools of a district and the impugned transfer
// 2 // order dated 20.08.2015 is result of such exercise for the district of Gajapati.
7. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is disposed of for lack of instructions from the petitioner to pursue the matter granting liberty to revive the same within sixty days for any surviving cause of action. ( M.S.Sahoo) Judge Gs
