Heard Mr. B. Barik, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. N.K. rPraharaj, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State-opposite parties.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to regularize the disengagement period of the petitioner from 09.03.2002 to 21.07.2012 with all financial benefit including promotion and all other benefit which has been granted to his counterpart employees.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the case of the petitioner is covered by the judgment of this Court in the case of Madan Chandra Nayak v. Principal Secretary to Govt. of Orissa, Water Resources Deptt. and others, (W.P.(C) No. 6277 of 2014 disposed of on 19.04.2022). Therefore, this writ petition may be disposed of in the light of the aforesaid judgment. 5.
In view of the above submission, as agreed to by learned counsel for the parties, this writ petition stands disposed of directing the opposite party-authority to consider the case of the petitioner in the light of the judgment of this Court in the case of Madan Chandra Nayak (supra) and pass appropriate order in
accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
