This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No.3518 of 2016 (C) was filed before the Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OAC) No.3518 of 2016. 3.

The petitioner questioned the consideration of Opposite Parties in nominating twelve officers for promotion to the rank of Superintendent of Police (Super Time Scale) without finalizing the gradation list. It is alleged that the petitioner has been ignored from being nominated.

At the time of hearing today, Mr. Chandan Kumar Sahoo, proxy counsel on behalf of Mr. G.R. Sethi, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that by efflux of time the matter has been rendered infructuous.

In view of such submissions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
