This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 1.
Mr. Samantaray states that a compliance affidavit dated 5th July, 2022 of Sri Dhananjay Kishan, Zone Officer, Rengali Irrigation Project, Deogarh, District-Deogarh has been filed in the Registry showing the due compliance of the directions passed by this Court on 1st February, 2021 in W.P.(C) No.38837 of 2020.
Based on paragraph 5 of the affidavit, he submits that the petitioner along with 35 other oustees had received cash in lieu of their land having been acquired towards the R & R benefit and hence the claim of the petitioner for allotment of alternative land by permitting the refund already received has been declined by a speaking order dated 22nd April, 2022 after giving opportunity to the petitioner. The said order has been annexed as Annexure-3 with the affidavit.

In view of the statement of the learned counsel for the contemnors/opposite parties, the present contempt proceedings are dropped and the CONTC is dismissed.
