The writ petition has been registered before this Court on 21st December, 2021, after the original application was transferred from the learned Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack upon its abolition.

On perusal of the available order sheets of the learned Tribunal, it is indicated that notices were issued on 07.08.2015 and the matter was never taken up/pursued thereafter. 4.

The O.A.

was filed in the year by the applicants/petitioners before the learned Tribunal, who were then working as Inspector of Police, challenging the gradation list dated 19.07.2014 and convening of the Departmental Promotion Committee for promotion to the next level i.e. Deputy Superintendent of Police.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the matter has been rendered infructuous by efflux of time. 6.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous.
