This matter is placed in the National Lok Adalat and is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode).

Learned counsel for the appellant, Officers of the Insurance Company and the learned counsel for the respondent no.1 are present.

It is agreed by the parties, the awarded amount of Rs.11,37,322/- (eleven lakhs thirty seven thousand three hundred twenty two) is modified and reduced to a consolidated amount of Rs.8,70,000/- (rupees eight lakhs seventy thousand).

It is directed that the appellant-Insurance Company shall deposit the consolidated amount of

// 2 // Rs.8,70,000/- (rupees eight lakhs seventy thousand) before the learned Commissioner for Employees Compensation -cum- Divisional Labour Commissioner, Jagatsinghpur within a period of two months from today and on depositing the same, the learned Commissioner shall disburse the aforesaid amount amongst the claimant.

As the settlement is arrived at before the Lok Adalat, no court fee shall be levied from the claimant. The FAO is accordingly disposed of.
