As directed the Director General of Police has filed an affidavit inter alia stating that the delay in submission of Viscera report was caused because of the negligence and lapses committed by two officials, namely, Bharat Chandra Nayak, Dispatch Clerk of District Police Office, Balasore and Bidutprabha Rout, Women Constable 167 of Soro Police Station. It is further stated that both of them have been punished and censured in SB for their negligence. It is further stated that there is no negligence on the part of the IIC of Soro Police Station.

Considering the averments made in the affidavit, the same is accepted. The matter is treated as closed.

The BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
