This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No.188 (C) of 2016 was filed before the Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OAPC) No. 188 of 2016.

The Petitioner is aggrieved by punishment of removal from Government service as prescribed under Rule 13(VIII) of the Odisha Civil Service (Classification, Control &Appeal) Rules, 1962.

None appears for the Petitioner.

Samantray, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State.

It seems the petitioner has filed an appeal against the order of punishment before the Secretary in the Agriculture Department, Odisha, Bhubaneswar. Since the matter relates to 2016 and keeping the matter pending any further, will not serve any fruitful purpose.

Hence, the Opposite Party No.1- Secretary in the Agriculture Department, Odisha, Bhubaneswar is directed to dispose of the appeal dated 06.04.2011 stated to have been

// 2 // filed by the Petitioner within a period of three months from today, if the same is still pending, before him and a decision taken in the appeal may be communicated to the Petitioner. 7.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
