This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No. 186 of 2016 was filed before the State Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OAPC) No. 186 of 2016.

The claim of the Petitioner is that though there was existing vacancy in the rank of Superintendent, Level-I, the same was not filled up; as a result of which he is deprived of being promoted to the Rank of Superintendent, Level-II during anticipated vacancy of 2016.

It seems that the Petitioner has filed representation before the Director General of Police, Cuttack (Opposite Party No.2).

None appears for the Petitioner at the time of call. 6.

Heard Mr. L. Samantaray, Additional Government Advocate, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Opposite Party No.2 to consider the representation as at Annexure-13 stated to have been filed before him by the Petitioner. The said representation shall be disposed of within

// 2 // a period of three months if the same is still pending before the Opposite Party No.2 7.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
