This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No. 109 of 2016 was filed before the State Administrative Tribunal, Bhubaneswar. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OA) No. 109 of 2016.

The Petitioner has made a grievance by way of the writ petition that the annual increment has been withheld with effect from July, 2015 on the pretext of pendency of the departmental proceeding. Though the notice was issued vide order dated 15th January, 2016, no counter affidavit has been filed.

At the time of hearing today, counsel for the Petitioner submitted that during the pendency of this petition, the relief as sought for has been extended to the Petitioner by the Authority concerned.
