1.This matter is taken up by hybrid mode.

2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the action of opposite party No.2 in rejecting application of the petitioner to appear in Orissa Civil Services Examination, 2011 for recruitment to the post and services coming under the Orissa Civil Services (Category-1 and Category-II).

3. Since the advertisement for the recruitment to the post and services is of the year 2011, the cause of action raised in the writ petition filed in the year 2014 does not seem to be surviving any more.

4. Learned counsel for the State is also in sink with the submission as made by the learned counsel for the petitioner..

5. In view of the above, the WPC(OAC) is disposed of as infructuous.
